Working Principle

The sensor probe has two exposed conductive tracks. When inserted into soil, the moisture level affects the electrical resistance between these tracks.

• Wet soil → Lower resistance → Higher output signal

• Dry soil → Higher resistance → Lower output signal

The module converts this change into:

• Analog output (AO): Continuous voltage proportional to soil moisture

• Digital output (DO): ON/OFF signal based on a user-defined threshold set via the potentiometer
